Emily Byrd has been working as an artist and selling her artwork in the US and Internationally for over 20 years. She earned her Bachelors of Art Degree from Florida Southern College with an emphasis in Art. Additionally, Emily has taken classes at Atlanta College of Art, Old World Fine Art in Atlanta, and continues to take art classes online. She is trained in fine art, textual art, and abstract art. Emily's years of experience working with Interior Designers and Builders help shape her theory that walls need a pop of color.
Color inspires Emily's work, as well as nature. She works with acrylics, plasters, multi mediums, oils, and oil pastels. In her artwork, Emily loves to layer colors, plasters, fabrics, papers, coffee, and pigments.
Some of Emily’s notable clientele includes Tori Spelling, Cindy Wilson, and Allison Pill. She was voted People's Choice Best Artist Johns Creek Arts on the Creek, Award of Merit Arts in the Heart of Augusta, featured in Atlanta's Spotlight on Art, and is an official artist of University of Georgia's Mascot Uga VII. VIII and IX.
